D.E.S.K. would like to extend a special thanks to Operations Director Jeanne Marie May who coordinated the colossal Thanksgiving operation for the second year . The enterprise was highly successful with I.C.M./D.E.S.K. distributing turkey baskets, providing meals to-go, and serving sit-down dinners to guests at 311 Temple Street.
Kevin Johnson , D.E.S.K. evening coordinator, did an amazing job! He put in hours of overtime, and his efforts helped ensure that everything ran smoothly.
George Strong worked as a full-time volunteer over Thanksgiving week (as he does many other weeks!). We greatly appreciate his years of dedication to D.E.S.K.!
A big thanks also to Rodney for his ongoing evening help and especially for his additional service over Thanksgiving week. He is a hard worker and a great guy!

Carving turkeys and making stuffing would not have been possible without help from Blanche Baldwin and Vi , who worked with the pastor of Center Church. Thank you!

Special thanks to everyone who donated turkeys, cooked turkeys, and pies. More than 125 individuals brought food for the effort! D.E.S.K. would also like to thank the more than 150 volunteers and drivers who assisted on Wednesday and Thanksgiving.
Many thanks to Axiom Mission Church ! Axiom Mission Church’s volunteers assembled the turkey baskets and completed a “sorting/unloading” project.
