• In 2006, DESK served over 50,700 evening meals, averaging 2,800 each month.
• As of July 2007, we have served over 50,000 meals to evening guests, provided over 13,000 food bags to shoppers at our pantry, and distributed 3,900 bag lunches to the working poor.
• In July 2007 we had our youngest guest to date—4 days old!
• The cost for DESK to provide one evening meal is $1.50.
• DESK receives an average of 250 guests at each evening meals.
• The weekly food pantry serves over 200 people each week.
• An average of 300 volunteers have helped at DESK each month in 2007.
